Visiting an Urban Farm in Rio Grande

We toured Rossi Naturals, an organic off-grid urban farm working as an official non-profit entity in Puerto Rico working to bring fresh produce to local restaurants, systems improvement to local growers & grow food seminars to local citizens.

Their goal is to help locals be more efficient with their grow cycles by raising money to help them build infrastructures such as compost bins, greenhouse, produce washing stations & more. 

The re-population of the very important gAHB (Gentle Africanized Honey Bee) is so important because after hurricane Maria seventy to eighty percent of both the crops and bees were destroyed.

We rescue the bees locally when in many cases they may be exterminated as they are in places people may not want them.
